STEP 1: Learn how to slow ur food down: What is SLOtility?- SLOtility is a diet designed to slow food down in ur stomach to make u feel full longer and eat less! On the Home Page, clicking on the Principles tab will show all the different foods and eating techniques u can use to slow ur food down. Try to incorporate as many SLOtility Principles as u can into ur diet habits…

STEP 2: Sign up and pick a Supplement to take every day for 1 month: What r SLOtility Supplements?- On the Home Page, click on Supplements tab to see all the different Supplement regimens that we r crowdsourcing: SLOtility Basics (in red) r Supplements that slow food down in ur stomach. We recommend u pick 1 of these to start, as a booster to kickstart ur SLOtility Diet!. The SLOtility Xtras (in green) r to help reduce the risk of chronic health conditions. Only pick a SLOtility Xtra if ur at risk for the specific disease, and u want to prioritize prevention. Don’t know ur risk?- we will estimate ur risk when u enter in ur personal profile information…

STEP 3: At the end of the month, share ur results: Click on the profile tab, and u can enter any/all information that u want to track and that we will crowdsource.

WHAT IS A CROWDSOURCED DIET? It’s a diet that evolves as more and more people try the different diet supplements and enter their results, which are aggregated to see what diet options are working the best. For example, lets say we have 100 people taking Vinegar for 1 month, and 100 taking Cinnamon, and we see better results with Vinegar (eg losing more weight, lower blood sugar, etc). Then we can use that data to prioritize taking Vinegar, or perhaps then to look at combining Cinnamon with another Supplement to see if results improve. No one knows how the diet will optimize- u, the crowd r going to steer the diet forward!

HOW DOES IT WORK? First, u choose which one of the 29 different SLOtility Supplements u want to try- pick something u know u can do daily for 1 month. Lets say you pick Vinegar- so, u sign up, enter in ur starting data, and ull be given all the info u need. Then u take a standard amount of Vinegar daily- we will send u daily push notifications to help u remember and keep track of how many days of the month u took the Vinegar. Then at the end of month u enter ur results: ur weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. The website will store ur results and combine them with others’ data to see which supplements r working better than others. The key to the crowdsourced diet is the power of numbers!
